TicWatch Pro 5 is one of the best Wear OS smartwatches you can buy right now, thanks to its dual-layer display, long battery life, and powerful performance. The smartwatch was launched last month with Wear OS 3, the latest version of Google’s operating system for wearable devices. Since then, it has received two updates, the latest of which brings some significant improvements and fixes. In this article, we’ll take a look at what’s new and improved in the TicWatch Pro 5 update, and how it compares to other smartwatches on the market. 🕵️♂️
What is New in This Update? 😊
The TicWatch Pro 5 update brings several enhancements that make the smartwatch more user-friendly and convenient. Here are some of the highlights:
- The update guarantees that the security patch is current by updating it to the newest version, dated 5th July 2023. This means that your smartwatch is protected from any potential threats or vulnerabilities. 🔒
- The update enhances the vibration intensity of notifications to make them more noticeable. This means that you won’t miss any important messages or alerts, even if you’re in a noisy or busy environment. 🔔

What Are The Major Bug fixes?

- The update fixes an issue where the heart rate measurement sometimes showed an inaccurate off-wrist alert.❤️
- The update eliminates different other glitches and problems to enhance overall speed and user satisfaction.
The TicWatch Pro 5 update is a welcome improvement for one of the best Wear OS smartwatches available today. It brings several enhancements and bug fixes that make the smartwatch more user-friendly, convenient, reliable, and secure. However, there is still one major feature that is missing from the TicWatch Pro 5: Google Assistant. 😢
Google Assistant is one of the most useful and popular features of Wear OS, as it allows you to control your smartwatch with your voice, ask questions, get information, and perform tasks. Unfortunately, Google Assistant is still not available on the TicWatch Pro 5, despite being supported on other Wear OS 3 smartwatches such as the Fossil Gen 6 and Samsung Galaxy Watch 4.
We hope that Mobvoi will soon bring Google Assistant support to the TicWatch Pro 5, as it would make the smartwatch even more powerful and versatile. Until then, we still recommend the TicWatch Pro 5 as one of the best options for Wear OS fans who want a dual-layer display, long battery life, and powerful performance.
The TicWatch Pro 5 update should be available for all users by July 1. You can check for updates by going to Settings > System > About > System updates on your smartwatch.
